Confirmed from The Terrace Hiking Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Walkable trail for hiking, jogging, biking, dog walking and scenic views.
What runners say about The Terrace Hiking Trail
One of my favorite hiking spots. I've only ever seen a handful of people on the trail. It's never too crowded and one of the best places to come and simply exhale. I come here about 3-4 times a year and it's perfection each time. It's even a good place for a hiking date. 😊
Secluded trail, great wildflowers in spring, mostly forest, good views, no other humans - a secret gem of a trail.
I love this hiking trail. Its not one of the known trails so its less crowded.
One of the best trails in Austin. There are room for parking. A fit circuit is good for running and biking. Very quiet, usually not many people.
