Great place to spend an afternoon or evening with family or friends. I've been coming here since I was a little kid. There's lot to do like going for a walk, playing on the playground, having a picnic, playing frisbee, or feeding some ducks. The water was up today because it rained a whole lot about a week ago.
Really loved this park! We stopped here on a cross country drive with our toddler. Very nice park to run, play, stretch our legs and have some lunch. Lots of wildlife and there is restroom available.
Nice place with concrete sidewalk all the way around the pond. If you enjoy walking or running it's a nice place to go for a stroll. I have seen lots of people fishing here and there are tons of ducks that are used to being fed.
Thompson Park is nice I didn't really get to experience the fall leaves this time but we did have a celebration of life for my dad in the American legion n we saw lots of people taking advantage of the walking trails n fishing
