Confirmed from Thrasher Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Public green space with an amphitheater, pavilion & gazebo plus picnic tables & play equipment.
What runners say about Thrasher Park
“Beautiful, well maintained park with a nice play area for the little ones.”
“My daughter is 2, and she loved both of the playgrounds, it has a lot of things to do… and lots of Shade ☺️ swings are Great”
“Great playground Very nice performance area and plenty of good shows Nearby restaurants Ample parking and easy walking”
I liked this park. It was huge and friendly to kids of all ages. A public, wooden stage is available. It could easily support a live band. Plenty of parking is available. Handicapped accessible restrooms are available for male's and female's.
Nice quiet park with a small amphitheater-type stage and a huge playground for kids. Bathrooms are on the back of the amphitheater stage and there are water fountains as well. Good paths for walking also.
About the a block large, Thrasher Park packs a surprising amount of fun in for such a relatively small space. Parking is convenient, and I have rarely had an issue getting a space right next to it even during peak hours. Well kept grounds and some amazing trees make it very pleasing to the eye.
Small park, but offers what you'd really want from one. Small walking trail, stage, playground for the kids, and bathrooms in case you need it. Benches are all across and close proximity to the train tracks in case someone wants to safely view trains.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeRunners describe real tree cover here — it makes a summer afternoon workable
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms, water — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
