Confirmed from THUDE PARK's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Green space offering soccer & baseball fields, walking paths & frequent model-plane flying.
What runners say about THUDE PARK
“Great park for running, good hills and ridges for work outs and dog walks!”
“Really peaceful and I remember lots of shade on the path.”
“Beautiful park 😍 My favorite park to walk my dogs ,play and just sit and look around”
Not a dog park Yes you can bring your dog but that doesn't make it a dog park. Yes you can take your dog off the leash and let it run free but it's not a dog park lol They have signs up that all dogs must be leashed. There's enough acreage so I understand why ppl love this place.
Used to live in the apartment near here and I loved this park. Would go run/walk around it frequently. The perimeter is so big so you can get lots of exercise with any activity you want. Really peaceful and I remember lots of shade on the path.
This park is great and accessable from the west side of the 101. It's huge, perfect for long walks or jogs, and usually full of people enjoying the outdoors. Love watching the RC planes doing stunt maneuvers! Count on seeing unleashed pets though, as it's unfortunately common despite local leash laws.
Great park for running, good hills and ridges for work outs and dog walks! Can be busy on the weekends with baseball, kickball, soccer and other sports, but is a great gathering place and is in a relatively safe neighborhood!
Trail conditions & character

“No Restrooms but the environment, the quietness, and the near Chandler Fashion Center compliments the additional needs, restaurants, gas stations, and all types of conveniences.”
“Really peaceful and I remember lots of shade on the path.”

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeRunners describe real tree cover here — it makes a summer afternoon workable
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
