Confirmed from Toisnot Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Toisnot Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (690 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

well-maintained 7 mentions

“Nice clean park, good place for a walk, or a good place to take your kids and relax.”

Nice park with narrow but long lake with pathways to walk, lots of parking space, restrooms and children’s play park. The park is on both bank of this lake and a wooden bridge joins both sides. Many birds, geese etc roam around or swim in the lake. You can feed them by buying a 25c food pack from vending machines there.

Fish the reserve, feed the ducks, and geese or walk the trail around. There's picnic shelters and bathrooms. There's plenty of parking and a park for kids and a dog park.

★★★★★ — The , Sep 2024

Nice place to take a walk and relax while looking at the turtles or heron fishing.

★★★★★ — Raekwon , Jun 2022

We went mainly to feed the ducks (they have food there for them). They also have a couple of small playgrounds, a trail around the lake, picnic shelters, and some really incredible trees. There was a ton of poison ivy along the side of the trail, but none on the actual trail.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

  • At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
  • DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
