Nice large tree, mostly sugar maple, forested trails. Cool to see the sap lines for maple sugaring. It would be nice if there was additional signage or educational material on the process and the area.
The trails are nice and the old wood forest adds a nice canopy to them. It is quiet and peaceful unless the farm tractors are close by. I would do them again I was in the area.
Lovely place to walk, but take care to avoid areas with tall grass, especially in warm weather. Lots of ticks!
Fun trail for seeing the maple sugar taps and farm animals and equipment. You can't quite get away from the road noise of 12 mile, and the farm could use more funds from MSU (like more educational signage), but it's a lot more peace than you can typically find in such a congested suburban area.
