Confirmed from Towne Lake Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

I've been going to this lake since I was a child. I love it here. The new park is great and there is another one back by the nature trail. The sidewalk is now really well lit the whole way around for evening runs. Also, my kids absolutely love it here.

My new happy place! This local park feels like a getaway. It's got a little of everything you could want. Plus it's gorgeous. It's got lots of trails that are either well maintained and paved or you can go off road to the dirt trails. You can picnic under a gazebo or they have lots of benches.

We had another great walk around the lake. But today was special! At around 7.30 am today just the sun was rising above the background, a hot air balloonist brought his balloon right dow on the last and skimmed away before rising again going high into the sky!

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
