Confirmed from Trailhead Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Public park with play structures, swings, and slides, as well as a splash pad.
What runners say about Trailhead Park
“It’s clean and paved but loud with surrounding traffic and general city sounds.”
Unique walk on an old rail path through the downtown core. Nature, art, parks, lake views, playground, children’s water park, and a walk under the local commerce building combines to make a cool experience and introduction to the town.
Enjoyed the playground facilities and the splash pad but the pad was very slippery...I fell once and my granddaughter fell 3 times and so did some of the other children there...so definitely NO RUNNING but I was just walking when I slipped...it could use a less slippery coating
Ok trail. It’s clean and paved but loud with surrounding traffic and general city sounds. It does offer some hidden spots of peace here and there.
A lovely path between Winter Haven and Lake Alfred...bike, skate, or walk...bring a partner...no lights...call boxes available.
Trail conditions & character
“And another plus the restrooms are very close by with is such an added bonus with a potty training little one.”
