Confirmed from Trout Island Trail, Sharpsville's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Trout Island Trail, Sharpsville
“It’s a beautiful bike path but we walked it, we walked about 2 miles out then turned around.”
It’s a beautiful bike path but we walked it, we walked about 2 miles out then turned around. The path is very scenic and very comfortable to walk. I definitely recommend checking this place out.
At the north end of the trail there is a path that will take you off the blacktop and over the RR Tracks to a dirt trail that adds on about another 2 miles. It's a loop and is pretty well marked with white paint on trees along with arrows pointing you in the right direction.
It's a beautiful place for a walk, accessable for walkers and electric scooters
Aside from the trailhead, the trail was mostly level. Wide enough for cyclists to pass each other without any problems. The entire trail is blacktop and mostly runs along the side of the river. Nice easy trail.

- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
