Confirmed from Tuller Hill State Forest's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

“Beautiful views and great trails”

Tuller Hill State Forest is a great place to hike. The Fingerlakes trail has many miles of trail through this state forest. The DEC also has quite a few multi use and horse trails that are available to hike. In the parking there is a mailbox with maps but there are more maps on the DEC website.

An excellent place to inject yourself into the forests of New York.. Multiple trails start here that offer a rigerous walk. the dirt road is easy to walk though the hills are steep. I don't recomend driving on the roads without 4 wheel drive or good knowledge. Do not drive across running water.

Bit muddy and could use a few more trail markers and a tiny bit of trail maintenance but lovely trails with fun loops!

Gorgeous drive. Not ment for cars! Loved the trail though (Snyder hill road)

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

  • DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
  • ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
