Confirmed from Twin Creeks Park Site's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Children will enjoy this park featuring a trail.
What runners say about Twin Creeks Park Site
This is a mostly undeveloped park. It's a chance to experience nature in the middle of the city of Citrus Heights. Very small misty creak meanders through the area. This open space area is especially pretty in the fall through spring. The creek is often dry during the summer.
Lived here over 6 years and we love the neighborhood. It's nice to have this trail to walk, jog or bike through.
Trail conditions & character

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadrestrooms — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
- Stroller / wheelchairReported as smooth and step-free enough for a running stroller or a chair.
