Excellent place to enjoy nature riding your bike. Entering from the Chancey rd entrance, go straight till you find the vehicle service road, make a right and keep going south. Take your second or third right off the service road and follow the trail till get to the hills. river.
Great place to hunt with the exception of the crazy people walking the trails they have during hunting season. It's an accidental shooting waiting to happen. At least if there going to slow people to walk the trails during hunting season which they shouldn't they should at least be required to wear hunters orange like…
Biked by a 10 or 12 foot gator laying about 6 feet from the trail. Stopped a jogger from running past it. Jogger went back, I went full tilt past it again. It never moved. Whew!
It was a nice surprise to venture through this! I didn't know there would be a pond/lake. Got there for sunset and it didn't disappoint. Camping, hiking, fishing, horse trail and hunting(if that's your thing.) Will be back earlier in the day to explore more.
