Confirmed from Upper Kingston Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
City park featuring a paved path for walking and a kids' playground, as well as soccer fields.
What runners say about Upper Kingston Park
“Nice clean park in a area surrounded by neighborhoods & a high school.”
“There is also a great running track, but you do have to watch out for cars.”
I really think this a great city park that doubles as the high schools fields. The fields are well kept and maintained though its 90% for soccer. There is also a great running track, but you do have to watch out for cars. What they really need to do is extend the parking lot or rope off an area on the grass.
Soccer fields, restrooms, 0.7 mile asphalt path around the perimeter, and lights spaced around the path. City does a great job maintaining the facilities, thank you! The path has some elevation, there’s an upslope on the way to the back corner but not killer.
Family friendly, pet friendly. Walking track circles park. There's 5 or 6 soccer fields. All in all pretty nice.
Sadly, Prattville does not have much in the way of good, long walking or running paths. Upper Kingston Park has a good .7 mile paved loop trail that runs around the soccer fields.
