Confirmed from Upper Onondaga Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Community park with athletic fields & courts, an arched stone bridge, greenhouse & spray fountain.
What runners say about Upper Onondaga Park
“The trails were clean and we got the opportunity to see some bald eagles.”
“Beautiful location we were here to take picture before junior prom would definitely go back”
“Upper Onondaga Park is a great spot to enjoy some quiet time outdoors.”
Large park with beautiful views, lake, walking paths, basketball courts and more
A small, cute park! This park is really nice for walking. There are several walking paths that go around the lower and upper part of the park. There is a nice view of the city of Syracuse from the upper park. There is a large pond in the center of the park.
I come to this park daily and it’s one of the most beautiful parks out there. I mostly come to run, but they have an awesome gazebo, pool, water feature, fantastic playground, and a beautiful lake. One of the reasons of not THE reason i love it here.
Wonderful park developed by Olmstead. Offers panoramic views of Syracuse. Nice place to go for a walk & rest by the smell lake.
