Confirmed from Veterans Memorial Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Relaxed place for walking, baseball, basketball and picnics, plus 2 playgrounds.

Great park for kids. Fenced playground has lots of play equipment for climbing, sliding, swinging and, well.... playing. There is an inclusive area with swings and zip lines for kids of all abilities. The park has a nice paved walking path around the perimeter, a basketball court and sheltered picnic tables.
I’ve been coming to Veterans Memorial Park since 2017, and it’s truly one of my favorite places. The playground is beautiful and recently updated — a great spot for kids to have fun. The park itself is peaceful and well-kept, perfect for relaxing or enjoying a walk.
This park has something for every family. Wide open green space for friabee, kickball, volley practice, tag, and more. The walking trail is clearly visible from most angles all around. There are 2 playgrounds and a large shelter. The basketball court is a favorite for all ages, too.
My children and I always have a great time at this park. They have 2 playgrounds to accommodate different ages children. Also there is a nice basketball court, walking trail and a large shelter. There are also many people that go there to play pokemon go as the park is home to 5 or 6 pokestops
