Confirmed from Veteran's Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Nice park. Quiet and has a breakfast / lunch spot and an ice cream spot!!! So peaceful to walk around and has jazz music playing in the background

Cute park. Has two little stages. Pretty waterfalls. A cafe that serves breakfast and lunch with indoor and outdoor seating. Playground for kids. With a splash pad. Cute memorial statues. They have picnic pavilions available for rent to have a event at. Kept pretty clean.

I love it here. I pick my kids from school and bring g them here to run and climb and look at the water. Lots of shade, a little café, enough room to spread out. Its been here longer that most of the other parks around this area and it's still maintained very well.

Can't find a better small park for a party than this one. Green market on Saturday mornings. I saw a production of Macbeth from their Amphitheater. The breakfast and lunch restaurant Seeds is within walking distance. Parking is limited, though.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
