Confirmed from Walnut Grove Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Feels like being in the country. This is a large park that includes many sports fields, vast lawns, playgrounds, 2 meeting buildings, historic houses that can be toured, and equestrian facilities. Horses can often be seen in the ring or on the trails.

We stopped to see the Cherry trees! Beautiful large recreation park with a separate playground and soccer field with accessible horse trails. There's a barn house for party or wedding events. The city replaced the main playground with a massive amazing equipment that serves all ages.

I really love this park. It's beautiful , manicured and well taken care of. Looking for a place to play sports , hold an event in the recreational house , look at some historical homes or maybe just enjoy the horse trails. There's plenty it offers.

Love this park! 2 different play grounds and lots of grass. Seems like there are soccer games every weekend. Safe and clean, nice walking trails around this park. There is even a special equestrian arena and parking.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
