Confirmed from Walnut Ranch Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
A 45.2-acre park offering kids' playground equipment, soccer fields & walking trails.
What runners say about Walnut Ranch Park
“While cycling I came across this well maintained park alongside Westhoff Elementary School.”
“I call this urban hiking, it's mid August and super dry but an easy hike with a little bit of shade along the way.”
I really enjoy this hike. It's moderate if you begin from Amar Rd and go up the hill. It has great views and a great way to de-stress. Depending on the pace, it can be completed in about an hour and 15 minutes. If you choose to continue, you can cross the street. I usually do this hike after work.
Small park in Walnut off of Amar rd. While cycling I came across this well maintained park alongside Westhoff Elementary School. Equiped with two picnic tables and restrooms, has a small kids playground and one large baseball field fenced off.. plenty of parking..

Daughter had a night soccer game here. Nice fields and very easy layout. Sufficient parking and an easy walk to the fields.
