We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Walpole Town Forest Entrances yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Walpole Town Forest Entrances
Nice short hiking area. Some nice water views. Can park in the Senior Center lot to start the hike. Earthen trails with pretty good drainage as it rained the day before and there was minimal muddiness.
Not the most adventurous hike but local, takes you out of the grind. They’ve done well with making the trail even more easy to walk along. Small but pretty is my overall review. There is a couple waterfalls but nothing super spectacular. Just very nice. 😊
I was looking for a new place to walk my dog & definitely found a spot we'ill be returning to. There are a bunch of little paths throughout & many benches. the water all around especially at the bridge is wicked serene.
Lovely trails, well maintained. Bring bug spray if you go in the warmer months it is a mosquito party.
