Confirmed from Wantastiquet Monadnock Trail - Trailhead's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Wantastiquet Monadnock Trail - Trailhead
Very nice trail, not too steep, can get a little muddy in some places but very doable! Took us about 1.5 hour to the summit walking not too fast.
Fire trail, especially in the fall when you're engulfed by so many different bright colors. Can go all the way to the lake. The lake is fun to swim in (idk if its allowed).
Two trails, one along the river (pretty flat) the other one that climbs up hill, more challenging.
Very brisk 35 min hike up. Allow about an hour each way to be comfortable. Amazing view!
