Confirmed from Waterfront Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

This was a nice place! It has a great walking trail, you can watch boats and seadoos glide by on the river. If you like, there's a fishing pier and a small playground for children. Along the trail, there's a Children's Memorial Garden, so many heartfelt statements to read.

Beautiful place to go for a walk with my dog. Sight seeing the big homes they have nearby and they have a very serene memorial area for lost loved ones.

Waterfront Park is located on the ICW( intracoastal waterway). There are barbecues bathrooms, bicycle pump and fix area. There are tables to sit at in the shade just in front of the bathrooms. There is a T shaped fishing pier. There is an emergency phone right next to the bathrooms.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

The practical stuff

  • AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
  • SurfacePaved — asphalt or concrete. Fast and predictable, runnable year-round, and fine with a stroller
  • DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
  • ShadeRunners describe real tree cover here — it makes a summer afternoon workable
  • At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
  • DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
