Confirmed from Waterworks Conservation Area's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Waterworks Conservation Area
“Nice clean convenient place to visit the outdoors”
“This is such a peaceful little park.”
I would recommend if you going to run the creek do it when the Gage height is at 3.25 or higher.
This is such a peaceful little park. Nice walking path, and a great critter viewing area. Very nice picnic shelter, with a large charcoal grill, and very nice restroom facilities. I was a little leary of reviewing the Waterworks, because it's kind of a little hidden treasure, that your afraid to let the word get out!
This place is very nice! Took my kids out there to stretch there legs after a long car drive and staying in the hotel. Loved to learn about the history there and where you can walk right down to the water. Found many shells as well. Very peaceful and quite.
Very quiet and nice place to walk. Could use some improvements with maybe putting in pavement all the way around. Maybe try to get trails to cross the water.
