Liberty Wetlands Park East and West make for a lovely short morning or evening walk. Mid day may not offer much shade. They offer both paved and dirt trails. Pet and kid friendly. Lots of wildlife and native plant life to be be observed if one takes the time to do so.
Cool place to walk the dog. I like that one long trail is paved, not gravel, and several trails/loops are connected to this main trail. The scenery is not as pretty as I was expecting. It was hot and being hiking the last 3 days, my girls were too tired to walk the enter length of the trail.
This park is near our house, and we enjoy going there to ride bikes and take walks near the pond. Very pretty trees in the spring. There’s no elaborate playground equipment, but during COVID it was nice to get out of the house and walk with the kids.
It's a wonderful place to take a walk. It has a black top waking trail. So you don't need to worry about getting your shoes dirty. Please go and take a wonderful walk!!!
