We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Wheatsworth Park yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Wheatsworth Park
I enjoyed this park because the road alone does not offer much, so this park offers a glimpse of hope. I like the circuit exercises around and stretching areas. If you're brave, you can walk up the hill on the far end and hike uphill -- this takes you to a golf course. Pretty cool sight.
Nice park with some shade to sit and relax. Some outdoor play equipment for the kiddos, walk the track, or bring your bike. They have a pavilion as well. Free Saturday night concerts in the park this summer in July. Nice way to catch up with your neighbors and friends. So get out there before summer is over.
I like to run here sometimes. The path is a little more narrow than other parks, but it’s nicely paved.
Good park to jog around with stretching and other exercise stations. Was empty when I took a run.
Trail conditions & character
“Aside from this caveat, the park offers ample parking, restroom facilities and a playground for children to enjoy, that it well-maintained.”
