Confirmed from White River Balds Natural Area's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
362-acre nature preserve with grassy glades, hiking trails, scenic overlooks, wildflowers & streams.
What runners say about White River Balds Natural Area
“Great overlook and hiking area, trails are well maintained and rest benches are conveniently placed for those that might need a periodic break.”
“Beautiful progressively challenging trails Waterfalls and streams and rocks and trails and places for adventure”
There are nice and we'll established trails. The trails were clean and well maintained. We had several young children, including a toddler, along with us and did not find the trails overwhelming. There are some excellent views of the valley and the North side of Branson. I am look foward to visiting again.
Great place about 6 miles all the way there were 15 wood ducks in the little pond on the east side of homestead loop a buck and 8 does on the west side not a bad hike
Great hiking trail off of 76! Trails were well kept and labeled, but I would recommend hiking boots because it gets quite rugged in some places. I did the Homesteader’s trail and it took me about 2 1/2 hours, but it was worth it!
Great overlook and hiking area, trails are well maintained and rest benches are conveniently placed for those that might need a periodic break.
