Confirmed from Willowbrook Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park with a basketball court, a playground, picnic tables, and BBQ grills, plus a river.

I Love Willowbrook Park very much! 💝This park is like a home away from home to me. 😄 The Mighty Awesome Rubicon River runs through the park. 🌎 There are many gorgeous trees there and this park is great for all ages. 🌳There even is a cute little island there where kids can go in the water.
The playground is great and lots of fun for anybody under 12 - but the easy access to the Rubicon River is the selling point of this park. It is easy to walk down, kick off your shoes, and walk in the water. The kids like finding crayfish, frogs, and fish.
- Located in Staten Island, part of the Greenbelt (NYC's large network of natural parks). - Covers 164+ acres of woodlands, trails, and recreational spaces. - Main entrance: off Eton Place near Richmond Avenue. --- ✅ What People Like 1.
The kids Loved the park. With the creek running through it. They had a blast playing in the water, didn't matter their age. Will stop again when we have time when we are in Hartford. #Greatpark #Greatmemories

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfaceNatural surface — easiest on the joints and the most fun, but expect roots, rocks and mud after rain
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
