This is a fantastic park for big kids. If you have little ones, there is a smaller playground at this park. However, the smaller playground is not segregated, which allows the big kids to run rampant. It makes play time for your toddler or smaller children somewhat difficult when the park is crowded.
I just moved to the area and this park is a 3 minute walk from my house... it's just perfect for my 4 yr old daughter & 5 yr old son.
Beautiful park and path and many monuments dedicated to people who served in the armed forces, a tank and a beautiful 9/11 monument.
Completely fenced in, shaded areas with tables and benches. Bike path adjacent. Kids love it.
