Confirmed from Wilmot Gateway Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

🪧 well-marked 2 mentions

“The bike and walking paths are well marked and signs letting you know whats ahead or what you need to know ,like slow down ect.”

🌾 quiet & peaceful 4 mentions

“If you are looking to put in some steps, workout, take your kids out, your dog, or just calm your state of mind, I reccomend coming here and walking first.”

05/28/23: In general, this park is great but one little concern is the small parking lots (~15 lots). There is a beautiful trail nearby where bikes are allowed. There are many good benches under trees with tons of playgrounds. I enjoyed this park a lot.

Wilmot Gateway Park in Woodenville is a gem for families! It is one of our favorite local parks. The playground is well-designed and has something for every age group—from toddler-friendly slides to more adventurous climbing structures for older kids.

I love coming here with my aunt. She introducted me to its beauty and wonder. If you are looking to put in some steps, workout, take your kids out, your dog, or just calm your state of mind, I reccomend coming here and walking first.

Loved visiting this park today in the afternoon. The park is pretty spacious, but lacks sufficient parking spots. The play area for kids is large sized and can accommodate atleast 30 kids or more simultaneously.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🅿️ Trailhead parking 16 mentions

“The only thing less than ideal is the lack of parking spots at the park but the big parking lot right across the street saves the day.”
