Confirmed from Womble Park Athletic Fields' own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Great park with lots of paved trails. A great playground with a really soft surface for the little ones. Usually pretty busy on the weekends when they have games going on as well.

We love it here, the surface to the kids play area was just replace to meet ADA requirements. There are bathrooms, numerous soccer fields, a paved loop and a pond. In the immediate area there is a trail leading to Bass lake via Sugg Farm as well as a new dog park. So nice, check it out!

The fields are specifically ran and mag are by Holly Springs Parks and Rec, and they are very clean and well kept spaces. It can accommodate three full size soccer fields but it’s usually divided in about 6-8 smaller fields so the younger recreation groups can use it.

★★★★★ — Tank , May 2024

It's a top-tier sports complex! My husband plays soccer here and the turf fields are excellent. The entire area is well-maintained, highly lit for evening games, and surrounded by great paved walking loops. Plenty of parking right next to the fields. It's always busy and truly great for all ages.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
