We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of WVU Woodlot Bakers Ridge Trailhead yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about WVU Woodlot Bakers Ridge Trailhead
Loop trail with lots of intersections and obstacles, primarily used as a bike trail. Works for a short hike/walk but a GPS map comes in handy due to all the different intersections and switchbacks. The trails cross some small streams as well. Can certainly get muddy/wet so wear appropriate shoes/boots.
Parking is a challenge esp getting off the road and getting back in. Be extra cautious. Otherwise great trail head. Be very aware while crossing road to enter trail system. Lot of cool critters, birds, cypress knees etc. to see and learn from nature.
Beautiful hike!! Had no signs at trail crossings so had no idea where I was but as long as you go downhill you’ll get to the entrance!
