Confirmed from Yonezawa Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Green space with exercise equipment, a playground and a sandpit.
What runners say about Yonezawa Park
“Anyway it’s a great park wide open fed to run in.”
“One drawback to the park is that there is little to no shade.”
Right across from the LDS Temple. Fun exercise machines for adults and older kids watching the younger kids. The play structures are for young kids. Plenty of grass. Not very much shade, very hot.
Lots of grass for running around, playing soccer, running the dog, etc. Lots of play structures for little kids. Safe neighborhood. Large gravel parking lot. Loses a star for port-a-potty instead of restroom.
Great park! I am here in a Saturday at 8:30am and there is no one here. You’d think someone might be out here playing just to get kids out. Anyway it’s a great park wide open fed to run in.
Great place for the kids to have fun. It's got fitness equipment and a large open field for running around - the whole family can get their 60 minutes of activity/exercise!
Trail conditions & character
“One drawback to the park is that there is little to no shade.”
“Perfect place to pull over and let the kids play since there is 6 fast food places in the parking lot area.”
“But be aware there's no shade or public restrooms near by.”
