Confirmed from 1808 Trailhead's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about 1808 Trailhead
“Beautiful out and back trail, or add the Batona Trail for a 7-mile loop”
This isn’t really the 1808 Trailhead even with a sign that says 1808 Trail. It’s the start of the Sand and Water Trail which is .87 miles long and ends at the intersection of the 1808 Trail and Batona Trail.

Beautiful. Ticks are REALLY bad here! I took my dog with me and she had no less than 20 extremely tiny baby ticks in her paws. I had three on me when I got to my car, that I hadn’t noticed during the hike. BEWARE!
