This is a neat park with lots of tables and bathrooms. The water views are picturesque. Today, we saw two juvenile alligators at the boardwalk area that swam right over to us. It’s obvious that people have been feeding them. The playground is small, but nice and the kids had fun playing on it.
Nice park. We didn’t bring the dogs but plan to bring them tomorrow to check out the dog park. We really enjoyed the walking path and boardwalk. Saw six different alligators, most were four foot or smaller. Loved the little one with bits of greenery on her head and back!
What a beautiful park! It’s massive, so at first we parked on the side where the playground was on our first visit, the kids loved it, small but mighty and impeccable views even from the playground area. There’s tons of interactive things for the kids to do on the playground and interesting climbing structures.
It was a beautiful sunrise today here at Anderson Park. It's always gorgeous after we've had a lot of rain and everything starts to bloom. The boat ramp is open early, but the park is actually open till later. Great hiking trails in the shade. There's swings, a dog park. Very nice pavilions in the shade along the lake.
