Confirmed from Aberdeen Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Family-friendly green space with baseball diamonds, tennis courts and playgrounds. Also on-site: volleyball and basketball courts, as well as soccer fields.
What runners say about Aberdeen Park
“The grounds and large parking lot are very well maintained.”
“The playground is perfect for children of all ages.”
Update: Four new pickleball courts and one tennis court (also with pickleball boundaries) were just opened here. Also, the playground equipment is getting a refresh. It looks close to being done. There are so many things to do at this little park! Great circular, paved path that we measured to be .4 miles around.
Clean park. The playground is perfect for children of all ages. The bathrooms need maintenance. There are tennis courts and soccer fields. Not to mention the walking trail.
The baseball diamond is in great shape! There is a walking/running path. Tennis/basketball and children's play parks are all amazing. There are even bathrooms.
We enjoy taking our dog for a walk on the paved path. The grounds and large parking lot are very well maintained.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfacePaved — asphalt or concrete. Fast and predictable, runnable year-round, and fine with a stroller
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms, water — reported by runners
