Confirmed from Guilford County Forest Preserve's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Tranquil, flat park for leisurely walks and biking along a paved pathway and memorials.

Nice and peaceful. Great area for bird & butterfly spotting. Useful to know: it's more or less a flat circuit so perfect for jogging, cycling & people using mobility aids. Seating areas placed at intervals.
This is a military tribute to all wars veterans. We have a Viet Nam wall to honor KIA in Vietnam. An agent orange wall, flag burning memorial and a purple heart memorial as well. This is a part of a beautiful walking path.
I love taking my family here to walk and enjoy the beautiful memorials. Bring some bug spray if you plan on walking. The bike path is paved, level and moderately busy. There is a natural prairie restoration area and a small creek. Those that are into geocaching can find a hidden capsule in the park.
About 1.4 mile long paved pathway, mostly smooth terrain. Very flat. Nice for bike riding as well. Enjoyed a quick few laps around this park as a pick me up. For most of the path, the trees provide nice shade from the sun as well. Nice prairie space and occasional deer sightings.
Trail conditions & character
“Paved throughout, but enough room to step off to the side for running on grass/soil”
“Great walking path with nature area, Vietnam War memorial and several benches along the path to sit and rest or enjoy the view”
“Useful to know: it's more or less a flat circuit so perfect for jogging, cycling & people using mobility aids.”
“Wonderful walking loop right next door to the Midway Village.”
