Confirmed from Abraszewski Trailhead's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

A hidden secret A hidden Gem, perhaps. I’ve not heard anyone speak of this place before. I was surprised when I arrived with a group of friends. WOW!! Just WOW! If you are in need of a quiet spot to meditate or be one with nature or seeking a little solice. Please come see this place if you haven’t.

I'm actually a bit hesitant to write this review because I'm selfish and I don't want more people to know about this place... It's definitely one of Pocatello's best kept secrets. It's a 3 mile out-and-back trail that runs behind the malting factory and Simplot.

★★★★★ — Jess , Oct 2021

Great easy paved walk for those days when other trails are muddy. Lots of birds and butterflies along this riparian corridor, with glimpses of the Portneuf River through the trees. Hawks nesting on abandoned manufacturing structures on trailside opposite the river.

★★★★★ — Elissa , Jun 2020

Paved trail, nearly three mile round trip. Good place to walk dogs and occasionally see wildlife.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
