Confirmed from Acworth Sports Complex's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Public park with athletic fields for baseball, softball, and football, as well as a playground.
What runners say about Acworth Sports Complex
“Lots of parking and it is always pretty clean.”
This is a great park with playground for little ones! There is a lot to do here and as long as there isn't a baseball game it's never crowded. It's a nice alternative to Swift Cantrell park if you prefer something more quiet.
This is a first rate park with playground for little ones! There is lots to do right here and so long as there is not a 3-hitter it is in no way crowded. It's a pleasing opportunity to Swift Cantrell park in case you choose some thing extra quiet.
Wonderful park. I attended and watched a group training dog's. It was very informative and entertaining. The park is nice and clean. My only complaint is that they lock the gates to the ball field and therefore you have no access to the bathrooms. So, no bathrooms. Unless you want to walk into the woods.
There are a lot of baseball fields with a single playground and then a long walking trail with exercise stations. It is never very crowded when it isn't baseball season and the playground is decent - although there is very little shade. Lots of parking and it is always pretty clean.
