I used to bike 🚲 up and down Durham Point Rd and I never knew about this nature preserve! What an enjoyable walk! I did see different species of birds. The trails are well maintained though there is a warning about ticks and poison ivy. No, not the comic book characters! There is a good amount of parking 🅿️.
It's one of the best kept secrets on the seacoast. Beautiful hiking (most trails are kid friendly, but watch out for those spots that aren't and are narrow/steep/drop off/or have poison ivy) gorgeous rocks lift the land up out of the bay and cover the beaches, plus there's a canoe/kayak launch.

Nice walking trails, boat dock, part of UNH. Designated parking. Picnic area with nice views. Great place to see horseshoe crabs during their mating season. Forrest and ocean views. Trails are rocky with exposed roots also trails run along ledges. Areas of beaches with stairs leading to them.
