This was a beautiful park! My family really enjoyed walking around and looking at the different monuments. Also, there is a beautiful pond with a water spray in the middle. Our favorite part was all of the turtles!! There were so many turtle heads poking out of the pond water that I couldn't count them all.
It was an honor to walk through this Veteran Memorial park. My wife and I are Veterans, very beautifully designed and respectful. They are even constructing a memorial for Military working dogs and their contribution. I've visited the Vietnam War Wall in DC several times, the copy here was sobering.
What a peaceful and serene Park, we went there with kids and there were so many things to captivate them like the belly of the ducks and the flying pigeons around over the pond and different monuments. If you are lucky you can see blue heron, pelecons, etc.
A very nice park, which goes into the Vietnam memorial park. It has a very pleasant atmosphere and a great place to walk a dog. The views are really pretty. The park also has several benches and a large pond. Their were many ducks on my visit. All around great place to go
