Confirmed from Aeraland Recreational Area's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Aeraland Recreational Area
It's a nice park to go to and walk around the pond and the trails in the wooded area. Every time I have gone its been clean and mowed.
Aeraland is a family favorite to go on a leisurely nature hike through the woods and around the lake and field. Lots of opportunities to see wildlife, birds, deer and more. Make sure to check out one of the biggest bat houses in the area, the newly erected bat condo built in 2023 can hold up to 10,000 bats!
Nice place, parks and parking look good, nice little shaded and unshaded trials. Absolutely full of ticks! Dress prepared and check yourself very well after.
Really nice area that seems to be well maintained. Covered picnic area. A mix of walking through trees and marshy-area.
