It has nice views near the river. Trail is partially destroyed by the river and some of it is still covered with flood mud, but there are no problems with going thru any part of the path.
It's a beautiful park to go to and skip stones. There's a running river and a bridge to walk over where people bring their dogs. The dogs were very happy finding sticks and running through the shallow parts of the river.
Beautiful place, the road to get to this spot could definitely use some work, huge holes. One can walk across the river without being swept away from the current (unless you go where it’s the strongest). There’s also options to float down the river, I’ve done it on multiple occasions.
I love this park. Well maintained and clean, nice trails, easy access to the river, and there's an abandoned train track and bridge that goes through the forest!
