Confirmed from Alan Thiesen Trailhead's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Forest hiking area offering trails with shade trees, some leading down to a creek.
What runners say about Alan Thiesen Trailhead
“Love the friendly people and clean environment.”
Well it was a nice walk in the summertime it is dry. We went to the summer and it looked like it would be a very pretty place in the spring or winter. It is definitely not flat the trail is steep in places. At least one review shows a creek that is not actually on this trail anywhere.
First hike of my #52weekchallenge. Its was nice to have curves and turns and hills and dips. Being that the loop is only a mile, we walked in one direction, then unwound in the opposite direction making in a 2 mile journey! Give it a try. Wear yucky shoes if its wet out, they'll get muddy.
The parking lot was upgraded from a dirt lot to a nicely paved lot with room for about 15-20 vehicles.
Short and sweet trail with a lovely tree and swing at the top. Great place to hike with kids.
