Confirmed from Albany County Helderberg-Hudson Rail Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Bike, rollerblade, and cross-country ski on this paved trail with scenic views.

Terrific trail with great views and so well maintained. Bit of a work out but the uphill is gradual
Great trail for biking & rollerblading. Very smooth pavement and beautiful scenery. What a beautiful day 🤩
Beautiful trail, together with recent addition about 10.5 miles one way. Waterfalls on the way. Nice views of the creek. Some black raspberry patches on the way. The bike trail is nice and smooth. One way mostly up the hill. The way back is lots of fun. Did it with 2 kids. They loved it as well!
Great trail. Paved and cleaned up nicely. It’s clearly marked and well kept. No garbage laying around. Sights on the trail are pleasant and it’s not too loud, you almost forget you’re in the city! All the people we encounter are kind and courteous as well as observing the “rules” of sharing the trail.

- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
