Confirmed from Albany Dog Park at Timber Linn Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

🐕 dog-walking favorite 4 mentions

“Went with a friend to go fishing was a really nice quite park, great for fishing, dogs, and my kids loved watching the ducks.”

I come here with my two dogs as much as possible. It does get very muddy during winter and spring but my Labrador LOVES the mud and water so I dont mind. Very large areas for dogs to run. It would be good to have a light out there for winter time. Hard to see picking up poop when leaving too late.

This is the best dog park in the area. Huge with an off-leash area next to a pond and a park. If you come in the winter/wet months, expect to get muddy. The pond is stocked a few times a year, so you can fish while your dog runs around in the off-leash area. Currently there is a half downed tree that needs addressing.

We love taking our dogs here. The only thing I don't like is all the dust right now with it being so dry. Otherwise, it's a great place with plenty of shade, benches, and water bowls.

★★★★☆ — Amanda , Jul 2023

Nice little spot. Has water and an offleash area. Has large dog, small dog and antisocial dog runs. If it didnt get muddy I would give it 5 stars. 4.5 syars for being super nice park.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

The practical stuff

  • AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
  • SurfaceNatural surface — easiest on the joints and the most fun, but expect roots, rocks and mud after rain
  • DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
  • ShadeRunners describe real tree cover here — it makes a summer afternoon workable
  • At the trailheadwater — reported by runners
  • DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
