We love Eads Park. It's very quiet and peaceful there's usually not very many people there. It's right next to the river and only a short drive to Talking Waters, Simpson trail, and Bowman Park. One of the best play structures in Albany.
Great park, kind of out of the way. The play structure is strong enough to withstand a medium-sized man's weight, with nice gripping bars to pull yourself up and jump around. An able-bodied person can easily climb to the top of the structure.
Park was very clean and looked a lot newer and more updated than some of the surrounding parks that are covered in mold. There is a really nice Open meadow next to the park to walk your dog through there is also a dog bag station. Lots of trees with shade as well as open areas for sun.
Cute park under ince shady trees with walking trails. Benches for sitting. No tables.
