Confirmed from Aldeen Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Peaceful, clean, family-friendly park featuring trails for hiking, dog-walking and sledding.

Aldean Park is a clean family friendly and large park for being in the middle of the city. I love hiking the trails through the forest on the east side of the park. There's a large hill that everyone goes sledding on I. The winter. I see a lot of family's use the shelter to throw party's.
PLEASE take mosquito spay... if not, there will be battle scars... other than that the walking trails are beautiful 😍😍😍 just don't wander off the trail them plants have thorns.🙈✌️
This was a great place. Definitely be stopping out again. I will say that if you're intending to hike wear long pants and close toe shoes as we couldn't experience all the paths we wanted due to tick/poison Ivy concerns (we didn't identify any, but better safe than sorry).
One of my favorite local spots to get some fresh air. The scenery is great, and there’s a good amount of walking paths, which makes it perfect for a quick walk or a longer stroll if you’ve got more time. Everything’s well-kept, and it’s just a peaceful place to clear your head without having to go far.

“I have fond memories from the 90s of hanging out here as a kid, also attending camp Eagle Hill here in the summer a few times when I was a kid.”
