Confirmed from Alice F. Keene District Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Green space with a play area, leafy trail & facilities for many sports, including soccer & softball.
What runners say about Alice F. Keene District Park
“This is a very nice park with a well maintained nature trail.”
“There's a basketball court, walking & grassy areas for dog walking.”
We love the hiking trails, and the playground has a lot to offer for the kids. There's also a half court if you want to shoot some hoops. They have lengthened the paved (Spring 2025).
Update May 23rd 2025 I really like all of the new paced walkways and cant wait until the new facility opens. Keep up the good work. Nice paved walking trails for me and my fur babies....they need to get the.mens room opened too...the women's is opened but the last two times I've come here the.mens room is locked
We love this local park. Great for dog and kid walking. Fun playground for the kids. They put in new trails through the woods that are a nice little peaceful hike as well, but watch out for mosquitos in the summer. We discovered today that someone decorated the trails for the holidays. So cute!
Always available for a quiet walk and meditation… There's several different areas to relax.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfacePaved — asphalt or concrete. Fast and predictable, runnable year-round, and fine with a stroller
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
