Confirmed from Paramore Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Modest park with children's playgrounds, a large picnic shelter & walking paths through fields.
What runners say about Paramore Park
“Overall the park is a very nice peaceful park but there needs to be shade for then benches that surround the playground because the summer sun be having the benches scorching hot.”
There's not a lot of equipment, but it's a nice, clean community park where you can bring the kids to burn off some energy, and there are even some picnic tables for a lunch outing.
We go here a couple times a week despite living across town. My 5 year old daughter still loves it and there is a pretty reliable presence of kids to count on (if you're trying to find somewhere there are usually playmates for your kiddo. Park closes at dusk. Picnic area is dated, but clean and covered.
It's one of many parks I like to bring my kids. There is plenty of room to play and have fun. Open field with a nice trail walk the wraps around. Enjoy nature and birds singing. I've also witnessed families coming together having parties, a great place to meet and greet new people.
I only visited this park once when I lived in the area, but I enjoyed it. The playground looks awesome, but I was there for the trail - which was much too short, but went along the most beautiful trees.
Trail conditions & character
“There's not a restroom at park but near by store and gas station if you're not afraid to use portable potty”
“There are two large jungle gym sets, one for younger kids and one for the older kids, a swing set, a large grassy field for kicking or tossing a ball, and a paved path.”
“Overall the park is a very nice peaceful park but there needs to be shade for then benches that surround the playground because the summer sun be having the benches scorching hot.”
“Love the covered picnic area and water fountain.”
