Absolutely love Alston! Especially the off-leash area where Leaf can run around and enjoy a bit of freedom. Have met so many other wonderful dog parents there!! Only thing is, do a tick check on your pup when you’re done, especially if they enjoy the tall grasses as Leaf does :)
Everyone loves it. We have everything from great hiking, decent views, and quite importantly-one of the best dog parks in napa. Not only on and off leash trails, but the 'Canine commons' area has delineated zones for the bigs and the littles (with a secure area to safely transfer too!).
This is a lovely trail up and down hills with great views of the vineyards and the nearby town. The 2-3 mile trail branches off in several places, but it's very easy to find your way back. There are many random benches and even a picnic table.
