Confirmed from Timberhill Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park featuring paved trails for walking, plus breathtaking views from the summit of the hill.
What runners say about Timberhill Park
“Nice trail with enough incline to make it interesting, but the real deal is the gorgeous view at end of trail overlooking Napa Valley.”
“I recently visited Timberhill Park and would recommend to anyone looking for a scenic, dog-friendly walk.”
I recently visited Timberhill Park and would recommend to anyone looking for a scenic, dog-friendly walk. The park is situated on a hill and features a mostly paved path that is partially shaded, making it an easy and comfortable stroll even on sunny days.
Do not use this location for Google Maps directions. It'll take you to a private driveway. Follow directions to the park entrance on Google Maps to get to the correct place. If you want a easy and quiet walk to get a nice panoramic view of Napa, this is the place. It's an old paved road leading up to the peak.
Enjoy an uphill/ downhill walk as hard or easy as you wish ~ 3/4 each way to top. Great views. There were cows and horses near the trail and we all kept our distance. A wonderful break from your urban life!
Nice views on a sunny day. Gobs of berry bushes, ripen day after day in the summer. Only drawback is the steep narrow path around the gap in the road.
